The NanoScan Corp. focuses on research and development in the field of nanotechnologies as well as the production and world-wide sale of technology products. The specialty of NanoScan are high-end scanning probe microscopes with unique resolution. The high resolution magnetic force mi­cros­cope (hr-MFM) guaranties a magnetic resolution of 10 nm. The IFW and Nanoscan have concluded a written contract over improving the MFM at IFW so that the device will be adapted to the investigation of magnetically filled CNT. In particular, an in-plane magnetic field of up to 0.5 T for the hr-MFM imaging will be included as well as a temperature option. In the framework of this cooperation, a training of one the CARBIO fellows has been conducted at NanoScan.
