I have done my Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Electronics from Visveswaraiah Technological University (VTU), Bangalore, India. And I have done my Master’s Degree (M.Tech) in Nanotechnology( specialized in Nano-biotechnology) from Amity Institute of Nanotechnology, Amity University, India. I worked on a project titled: Biological Responses to Nanostructured TiO2 Surfaces at Nanotechnology Research Institute, University of Ulster, N.Ireland, U.K. In this project I studied the Biological responses (Osteoblasts (MG 63)) to Nanostructured TiO2 surfaces at standard conditions. Since November 15th I am PhD student in the group of Prof. Dr. Ir. David Reinhoudt under the supervision of Dr. Aldrik Velders. My PhD project titled: Imaging of Carbon Nanotubes: NMR and Micro MRI Studies. In this project I am going to Design and develop a appropriate microfluidic model system for CNT distribution in tissue. And a selection of CNT properties optimal for NMR/MRI studies. Selection of imaging criteria and parameters. Localisation of CNT in tissue.Demonstrating the limit for the spatial resolution for the localisation of CNT in tissue. And I will report on localisation methods of CNT in model system and tissue using NMR and MRI. Report on the resolution limit for the localisation of CNT in tissue using NMR/MRI. CNT localization in model systems with a spatial resolution of less then 50μm and less than 25μm.
